We are delighted to have today completed the signing of midfielder Alex-Ray Harvey, on dual registration with Bamber Bridge.
The experienced Burnley born midfielder brings a wealth of experience to the reds, having previously had spells with Barrow, Guiseley, Stafford Rangers and most recently, Bamber Bridge.
His early career was spent with Burnley having joined the Clarets Centre of Excellence as a youngster. He earned his first professional contract in the summer of 2009 and was loaned out to Fleetwood Town in March 2011 and again in August 2011. A further loan spell with Barrow followed, and after his release by Burnley in May 2012 he joined Barrow on a permanent deal.
Manager Andy Harrison is delighted with the addition:
I feel it really important we add experience & leaders into the group and he possesses that in abundance alongside his quality.
I'm delighted to get him over the line and I know the club means a lot to him given he is a Colne lad.
Welcome to Colne, Alex-Ray.
