Colne Football club have secured the services of former Bamber Bridge Captain Matt Lawlor on a short term deal.
The experienced defender made 110 appearances for AFC Fylde scoring two goals and was a regular at right-back and in the centre of defence for them for over three seasons, before making his ‘Brig’ debut on the 22nd November 2011 at Irongate against Mossley in the First Division North.
Lawlor, who won this division with ‘Brig’ joined up with Nathan Rooney’s squad on Thursday evening and will be available for selection if required in today’s FA Trophy fixture against Tamworth FC.
