Colne Football Club can confirm Matthew Makinson has rejoined the Reds from Widnes FC
Makinson joins Morgan in returning to Harrison Drive as Head Coach Nathan Rooney looks to bolster his squad.
Rooney said “both Geoff and I have known Matty since his time a Blackburn Rovers. He’s a big strong boy who can definitely play and will add physically to our side. The fans know what they are getting from Matty and I’m delighted he’s agreed to join us”
Makinson signed late last night and subject to league clearance could be involved today as the Reds travel to his former club, Widnes FC.
