More determined than ever to come back stronger

Relegation by the narrowest of margins is a bitter pill to swallow. It’s a reminder of how fine the margins can be in football — and how hard this group fought until the final whistle of the final game. There’s no shame in the effort, only pride in the resilience shown through a season filled with adversity.

Now, our focus turns to the future.

We will use this moment not as a breaking point, but as a turning point. With fresh determination, we will regroup, rebuild, and return with a renewed sense of purpose. Plans are already underway to ensure we are competitive from the very first kick of next season — both on the pitch and off it.

Colne FC will continue to represent its community with heart, honesty, and hunger. And we will work every day to make sure that our supporters, who have stuck by us through thick and thin, have a club they can continue to be proud of.
