Reds sign exciting young midfielder

Colne Football club are delighted to announce the capture of recently released Accrington Stanley Youngster Luke Stowe.

19 year old Stowe who had interest from higher up the pyramid, is an Attack Minded player with an eye for goal and certainly a player to excite the Red Army faithful.

Luke who leaves Accrington Stanley following 9 years with the club had been a regular fixture in the U23 side throughout his scholarship.

Luke said “I was disappointed to be released by Stanley especially after spending so many years at the club. The gaffer has invited me in and once the opportunity came to sign it was an very easy decision. The players have been great since my first session and the gaffer is building a strong exciting squad which I’m happy to be part off”.

Luke will be involved in tomorrow’s friendly at Padiham as the Reds ready themselves for a busy final two weeks building up-to the FA Cup opener against 1874 Northwich on August 6th.
