Colne F C are delighted to announce that fans favourite Oliver Roberts has returned to the club following a short spell at the Skuna Stadium with Atherton Collieries.
Central Midfield Roberts was a vital cog in the team last season and is looking forward to linking up with the promising young team Phil Brown is putting together.
Roberts first joined the Reds under former coach, Nathan Rooney after spending 18 months at Trafford FC, captaining them during the curtailed 2020/21 season,
Roberts made 44 appearances for the reds in all competitions last season, netting 3 times on the way.
The 26-year-old midfielder has also represented Stalybridge Celtic, Chorley, Mickleover and Buxton, as well as New Orleans Jesters in the United States.
